"Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In His hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care" (Psalm 95:1-7).

"I was glad when they said to me, 'Let us go to the House of the L
ORD!'" (Psalm 122:1)

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers" (Acts 2:42).

At the Enlgish Lutheran Fellowship we believe that worship is God's Divine Service to us. We come into His House to receive His gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation, which He graciously and lovingly gives to us through His means of grace - His Holy Word and Sacraments. We respond to the gifts we are given with praise, adoration, and thanksgiving through the singing of hymns and by speaking back to God the words He has spoken to us in His Holy Word. We believe that Divine Service is a sacred time when we are invited to come into the very Holy of Holies to be in the very presence of our Lord. Out of respect for our Lord, and in order to maintain the reverence and to facilitate the good order this sacred time most assuredly deserves, we follow the historic liturgy in our services. We invite you to join us for Divine Service sometime, which take place every Sunday at 9:00.
